Nothing quite like a good purge! My partner and I do annual Junkment Day when we throw away stuff we don't need. It's usually a bunch of boxes we kept "just in case"...
Egads, James! What is muscle scraping?! It sounds incredibly painful, but I am so happy you are back to running, as it sounds like you love it! Hooray for good health! Congratulations on your next BoxTales book, and your upcoming graphic novels! While waiting, I tend to think of other stories and other projects that need revisions while also reading novels (audiobooks), and listening to craft podcasts. Definitely binge watching series of all kinds and gratefully this summer I’ve been thoroughly enjoying swimming. Thank you for asking and enjoy the Fall ahead!😊
You use a metal tool with a smooth edge to scrape up and down and dig into the affected muscle. It breaks up scar tissue, adhesions and knots in the muscle so it is less tight and functions better. It can be painful when doing it and causes black and blue bruising under the skin but it’s like magic because it really helps fix things.
I definitely like to purge drawers and closets when waiting for notes back for a book - it's very satisfying and feels productive. I just finished Kate Messner's The Trouble With Heroes and it was terrific. I also finished a short story, A Good Marriage, by Stephen King via audiobook (he's usually too scary for me, but he's such a master pacer!)
I love a good purge. I recently donated four big boxes full of books I no longer wanted to The Friends of the Library Store and it felt so good. And it made room for more books!
I’ll have to check out the two books you mentioned. We saw the Life of Chuck in the theatre and it made me want to read that short story by Stephen King.
We are enjoying Magpie Murders. One more episode to go!
I started watching the first episode. Love the title sequence.
I’ll have to give that one a watch. Thanks.

And I love swimming too. Happy to hear you’re hitting the pool. It’s such a good form of exercise.
It has been like therapy for me! Thank you!

Wow!! It sounds painful but I understand how it can help..so glad you have found relief!!
New season of Bakeoff! If you're into that
I do love Bakeoff but we no longer have Netflix. We are currently watching Great Pottery Throwdown on Roku Channel. Which is also good.
I've Been told it has a similar vibe!
100%.
